Ownership stays with you
Submission alone does not transfer ownership. Any rights, territories, windows, and responsibilities are defined in the applicable agreement before activity begins.
A clear route from a completed Christian or family-friendly production to professional review, onboarding, delivery, and distribution support.
This page explains who FilmMerge serves, what filmmakers can expect, how onboarding works, and where to go next. The Services page remains the detailed catalogue of FilmMerge capabilities.
Submission alone does not transfer ownership. Any rights, territories, windows, and responsibilities are defined in the applicable agreement before activity begins.
FilmMerge coordinates review, readiness, delivery, licensing conversations, and available placement opportunities through one organised relationship.
You receive the relevant requirements, status updates, requests, and records through official communications and the authorised filmmaker workspace.
The public pathway is designed around Christian and family-friendly productions, their audiences, and the practical demands of independent distribution.
A strong submission is not only a good film. It also has a clear audience, an explainable rights position, usable materials, and realistic expectations about review, licensing, delivery, and placement.
Review Submission ResourcesThe exact requirements depend on the title and agreed scope, but the public sequence below explains the normal checkpoints.
Confirm that the title, rights position, audience, and available materials broadly match FilmMerge’s focus before submitting.
Provide the production details, viewing material, rights context, contacts, and available marketing assets requested by the submission form.
FilmMerge targets an initial response within approximately 15-30 business days after the required information is available. Complex questions may take longer.
If the title progresses, both parties review the applicable scope, rights, territories, responsibilities, commercial terms, and required documentation.
Approved contacts receive the appropriate account-access instructions, communication route, title checklist, and onboarding responsibilities.
The accepted master, metadata, artwork, captions, rights records, payment details, and destination-specific materials are coordinated for the agreed pathway.
Not every item must be final at first contact, but accurate disclosure reduces avoidable delays and helps FilmMerge assess the correct pathway.
A complete or meaningfully reviewable cut, plus an accurate synopsis, runtime, genre, language, and production details.
A reliable understanding of ownership, music, talent, archive, territory, and any existing licensing commitments.
Available poster artwork, stills, trailer, credits, cast and crew information, and audience or festival context.
Knowledge of the available master, audio configuration, captions or subtitles, and any technical limitations that may affect delivery.
Portal access is provided through the approved onboarding relationship. Public pages explain the pathway; authorised account records, requests, title activity, and applicable statements remain inside the controlled workspace.
