By submitting a film on the Film Merge platform and signing the applicable provisions, agreements, or clauses, the submitter acknowledges and agrees to abide by Film Merge’s structured evaluation and distribution process. Submission and signing of these provisions do not guarantee immediate or eventual acceptance, distribution, revenue generation, platform placement, or acquisition.
Each project undergoes a rigorous internal review and positioning assessment. Only films that meet our internal checklist and quality benchmarks may be shared with our network of platforms, distributors, and aggregators. When external interest is expressed, Film Merge will notify the producer or submitting party to initiate discussions regarding potential distribution, licensing, or acquisition.
There is no defined or implied timeframe within which a project may secure interest from any platform, distributor, or aggregator. Submission solely grants Film Merge the non-exclusive right to store the submitted materials in our database and to share them with vetted partners within our global network for evaluation purposes. Submitters may track updates and progress through the Film Merge dashboard.
Film Merge reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline, reject, or discontinue consideration of any project at any stage of the process.
